Good to know

This is a beautiful home located next to the Mississippi River. Because of our location keep in mind there are critters, snakes and bugs. We spray for insects on a regular basis.

Other Details to Note

Please keep in mind, the house is on a small hill. If there is inclement weather, it may be a challenge driving up on the drive way. Nauvoo has very few options for internet. We have purchased the largest plan possible for this area.

Awesome place to stay even in winter. Was better than the pictures and beautiful inside as well. Modern inside but still has some cool vintage style furniture. Hot tub was awesome and had a big kitchen on the second floor. Clawfoot tub was also amazing and had a great sunset view. Well stocked with kitchen supplies, towels for showers/hot tub, and clean.

The home and its surroundings are stunning! The home was stocked with all the necessities and it is very well kept. We would definitely stay here again. The only only downside to our stay is the heat was not working properly. At the time of visit it was winter and below freezing outside so the house only being heated to 55 degrees was unbearable and we left a day early. I’m sure this will be repaired by the next booking given the climate during our stay.
