Good to know

This is a beautiful home located next to the Mississippi River. Because of our location keep in mind there are critters, snakes and bugs. We spray for insects on a regular basis.

Other Details to Note

Please keep in mind, the house is on a small hill. If there is inclement weather, it may be a challenge driving up on the drive way. Nauvoo has very few options for internet. We have purchased the largest plan possible for this area.

This place was perfect for our family of 5 plus a Grandma! The kids loved the downstairs and hot tub a piano! Out of all the things we’ve done on our trip staying here was a highlight for them!

We enjoyed our stay. Some evenings we sat on the upper deck and just enjoyed the sunset and listened to the birds sing. Being from SW Minnesota we don’t get to see barges and tugs moving on the river. They had just started moving down river we enjoyed seeing them. It is surprising how just simple things like a gorgeous sunset can bring you peace.

Absolutely stunning place and views. The house was beautiful and our entire family had a wonderful time. This was easily the best airbnb we have been to. We will for sure be staying here again. Definitely not short on things to do. Our kids did not want to leave! Thank you for the great experience.

A beautiful, unique home with a wonderful sense of peace. We loved how spacious and tranquil the entire property felt, and the stunning views of the river provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. It was exactly the escape we needed. Highly recommended!

Awesome place to stay even in winter. Was better than the pictures and beautiful inside as well. Modern inside but still has some cool vintage style furniture. Hot tub was awesome and had a big kitchen on the second floor. Clawfoot tub was also amazing and had a great sunset view. Well stocked with kitchen supplies, towels for showers/hot tub, and clean.
