This home is located Kitty Corner to The Temple Lot dedicated by Joseph Smith in 1831 as the location for a temple to be built representing the New Jerusalem. It is prophesied that in the last days a temple will be built here and that Jesus will come to this location. Joseph also declared the area as the original garden of Eden and home of Adam and Eve. Several branches of churches surround this lot including The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, The Community of Christ and The Church of Christ Temple Lot.
