This Cowboy Cabin is located on 40 acres and is a perfect tiny home to enjoy out in the country. With chickens, cows, goats, horses and more about back you’ll have plenty of friends. The Cowboy cabin offers a queen bed and a twin mattress in the loft area. The loft ladder has a maximum weight of 200 pounds. And the loft requires you to get around on your hands and knees. We are not located in Fredonia but in CaneBeds 30 minutes north. We are 15 minutes away from Colorado City where there is a wonderful grocery store and a few restaurants. We are about and hour to an hour and 1/2 from Zions, Lake Powell, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, and St George.

Guest Access

Parking is great, Lots of space. There is a town 10 minutes away that have delicious family run places to eat, a grocery store, places to hike and parks. Driving is a must in this area, we live in a very rural area.

Good to know

We are a cattle family who homesteaded the Arizona Strip. Our place has horses, cats, dogs, chickens, roosters, goats and cattle. We are completely off the grid. Our water is off a well and our electricity is solar. The rooster crows in the morning. The water can sometimes have a unique odor but is clean and safe and we provide free water bottles. We don’t see them often but there are snakes (mostly blow snakes but rattle snakes are native, scorpions (non poisonous) coyotes and other critters from time to time . If you like petting and feeding the ranch animals please feel free to offer a hand. We are 5,000 feet in elevation and experience all seasons. We are 15 minutes away from the coral pink san dunes.

It was a beautiful place we even extended our stay 3 nights. It was very peaceful and the farm animals were a great touch. We didn’t hear anyone from any of the other Airbnb‘s. The service was a little patchy at first, but then worked 95% of the time. The cowboy cabin was very comfortable and spacious for two people. They provided everything we needed. The only thing is for people from the city, they do have well water. It had a little bit of a pungent smell, which didn’t bother us too much but for some it does. The location was great, It was very private. There was a long, bumpy gravel road to get to the Airbnb‘s other than that I couldn’t have asked for a better location. Overall will be staying again and I would love to stay at the other cabins as-well! The host was very responsive and had an answer for every question we had !

I enjoyed my stay here. The animals are really cute, especially the goats and chickens. For the price it’s a great stay with lots of fresh air. It’s perfect if you want to get away from the city, relax by the campfire, or explore nearby hiking trails. Coral Pink Sand Dunes and Zion National Park are good day trips. They provide pots, pans, knife, chopping board, can opener and stove, and a TV, and it’s dog friendly. They also have mosquito repellent you can put in the fire. The WiFi can be spotty some afternoons. I have AT&T and had no signal there, but it works about 10 minutes driving out. If you have a dust allergy, bringing an air filter might help. Overall a peaceful and unique stay.

We had a wonderful stay in Cane Beds! The home was cozy, comfortable, and full of charm. It was such a cute place to relax and unwind. The farm animals were an extra special touch and so fun to see—they made the stay feel even more unique and memorable. Overall, a great little getaway, and we really enjoyed our time here.
